Startup Warranty: 30 Days to Test

At our store, we understand that buying a used laptop is an important decision. We want you to feel confident and comfortable with your purchase. That’s why we offer our special 30-Day Startup Warranty on selected laptop models.

Important: Information on whether a specific device is covered by the warranty can always be found in its description on the product page. Look for a mention of the “Startup Warranty”.

If the laptop is covered, you have 30 days to thoroughly test it at home. The terms of this warranty are listed below.

What does our warranty cover?

The warranty covers all hardware defects that were not mentioned in the product description and which prevent or significantly hinder the normal use of the laptop.

  • Hidden component defects: issues with the motherboard, processor, RAM, or hard drive.
  • Port malfunctions: non-working USB, HDMI, headphone jack, etc.
  • Screen defects: issues with the display (e.g., lines, artifacts) that were not part of the description.
  • Malfunctioning keyboard and touchpad.
  • Charging or power supply issues (this does not apply to the natural wear and tear of the battery).

What is NOT covered by the warranty?

The startup warranty is intended to confirm the technical functionality of the equipment, therefore it does not cover:

  • Software issues: operating system errors, viruses, problems caused by user-installed software.
  • Mechanical damage: caused by the user (e.g., liquid spills, drops, cracks).
  • Natural battery degradation: The battery is a consumable part, and its reduced runtime in used laptops is normal. However, we guarantee that the laptop will function correctly when plugged into the power adapter.
  • Minor cosmetic imperfections: (e.g., scratches on the casing) that are normal signs of use and were included in the product description.
  • Tampering with the hardware: any attempts at self-repair or modification.

How to make a warranty claim?

If you notice a problem with your laptop (covered by the warranty) within 30 days of purchase:

  1. Contact us via email or the contact form on our website.
  2. Describe the issue in detail and, if possible, attach photos or a short video.
  3. Wait for our response with further instructions regarding diagnosis or the return procedure.

If a defect is confirmed, depending on the situation, we will offer a repair, an exchange for another model, or a full refund.
